All around restful and relaxing time!

Just in time to get cracking on some big projects at the house.

Jon didn't go on the trip and did a few things around the house that I need to post.

We haven't done much this week (again).  Still settling back into the routine.  I have, on the other hand, been relaxing and re-energizing.  I saw this on Independent Lens last night and the songs have been in my head all day...especially this one.  I might have to add it to my latest playlist.  Meetings in Denver all day tomorrow, making a big list Friday and will have project photos very soon!

STUCK...

I'm ready to get back in the swing of things, but I'm stuck.  I am ready to cover the walls in the living room but I'm not sure how I'm going to blend the different styles.

Here's what I have:

Can't change anything on this one.

Could change the mat and need to change the frame.

I would call the overall style I'm going for as mid-century/natural.  We're going with bold accents throughout the house and a neutral base.

Hello...testing...is there anyone out there??

We've been crazy busy painting, working, being sick (it's been a bad year), and getting ready for a much needed break.  Here are some photos of what else has been keeping us busy.

Even though we're heading back to Wisconsin for some time with our families, we have to go on our annual hike in the forest to find our tree.  Unfortunately, I wore the worst boots and ended up laying in the snow for most of the morning.
